Welcome to the North Alabama Soccer Coalition or as we like to call ourselves - North Alabama SC. Our club is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides recreational and competitive club youth soccer programs for boys and girls in the North Alabama including Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Decatur, Hampton Cove, Owens Crossroads, and greater Madison County.

Our Club continues to grow with the North Alabama soccer community. North Alabama SC strives to serve all players and all skill levels by offering developmental, recreational, competitive, school-based, premier, and pre-professional soccer opportunities.

North Alabama SC is more than just a soccer club. It is a collection of parents, coaches, administration, alumni, and volunteers that work together to grow the game and strengthen our soccer community by helping to develop not only the next generation of players, but the next generation of leaders for our community.

Our Club is the largest and most successful youth soccer club in North Alabama with

• More than 850 players
• More than 50 teams
• More than 40 professional coaches
• More than 55 Alabama State Championships
• More than 100 Alabama State Final Four appearances

Our Club was founded in 2008 through the merger of two of the most successful clubs in Alabama: KICKS Futbol Club and Huntsville Soccer Club (formed in 1999). Following the merger, the club was renamed to Huntsville Futbol Club. This merger grew the club to over 600 players, and allowed us to better serve the growing needs of the North Alabama soccer community by providing program options for all ages and skill levels for both boys and girls, while also implementing our Total Soccer Development program that introduced a player-first curriculum.

In 2013, Huntsville Futbol Club merged with Valley Futbol Club of Madison, AL. This merger allowed our club to expand into the Madison community, furthering our mission to support the entire North Alabama soccer community, and growing our club to over 800 players.

In 2019, we launched the first Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) team in North Alabama to provide pre-professional soccer opportunities to all female players, and in 2020, we expanded our pre-professional presence to include a men's National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) team.

In 2020, we officially rebranded from Huntsville FC to North Alabama SC to be more representative of the soccer community we serve.

In 2021, our girls program joined the Development Player League (DPL) to provide players with access to a national platform and offer the highest level of competitive soccer available to 13U-19U female players in North Alabama!

In 2022, our boys program joined the National Premier League (NPL) to provide players with access to a national platform and offer the highest level of competitive soccer available to 13U-19U male players in North Alabama!

In 2023, our pre-professional programs joined the USL. Men's team moved to USL League Two (USL2) and the women's team moved to the USL W League (USLW).

Since 2008, our club has won over 55 Alabama State Championships, made over 100 Final Four appearances, over 200 players signed to play in college, and produced several Regional ODP players and multiple National Team players.

To be Alabama’s preeminent soccer club for individual development, offering the most inclusive soccer experience for both player and coach, and fostering a communal passion for the sport regardless of age, ability, or background.

Our mission is to create a player centric environment that promotes positive youth development using teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play all while developing a lifelong love of soccer. 

We achieve this mission by providing positive and diverse role models that our players can learn from and emulate and providing a safe, positive, and professional environment for our players to learn and play soccer.

North Alabama SC is affiliated with the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), US Club Soccer, and Alabama Soccer Association (ASA), which is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). USYSA is the youth affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation, the governing body for soccer in the United States.
