NASC Trapped Player Program
NASC Trapped Player Program
What is a Trapped Player?
A "Trapped Player" is any eighth grader who is a member of a 15U team, which typically consists of 9th graders. The player is called a "trapped" player because 15U club teams do not have a spring season because most players on a 15U team play high school soccer their freshman year.
What is a Trapped Player PLUS(+)?
A "Trapped Player+" is any 9th-12th grader who is not playing in high school. The player is called a "trapped player+" because they would like to continue playing but have no high school to play at or have no interest in high school soccer.
At North Alabama SC, we have a plan for Trapped Players so that players do not miss opportunities to continue to develop. Our program is available to all North Alabama players who do not have a spring club or school team.
