North Alabama SC's Pre-Competitive soccer program is devoted to the enjoyment and development of youth soccer players within North Alabama communities without an emphasis on travel or competitive play levels. The purpose of Pre-Competitive soccer is to provide an opportunity for players at ALL levels to have fun, learn the sport, develop life skills, and develop a LOVE for the game.

North Alabama SC is a family-oriented soccer organization that provides an opportunity to play organized soccer at the Pre-Competitive levels for players at ages 3-8 years old. We offer programs that place the focus on the development of the whole player within a team environment. North Alabama SC is committed to providing holistic player development through a child-centered environment for each individual player while offering players, their families and coaches an enjoyable and FUN soccer experience. We are dedicated to helping players reach their full potential while fostering a love of the game.

We offer multiple programs as part of our Pre-Competitive Program to introduce players to the game of soccer:

Jr. Academy: (Birth Years: 2021, 2020 & 2019) 
Pre-Academy: (Birth Years: 2018 & 2017)

Jr. Academy 4U Program: The 4U program is a co-ed, 8-week program that plays and practices once a week on a Saturday. Players will have a 30min practice and then play a 30min game. Game-play is 4v4. Program is offered in Huntsville, Madison, and Owens Cross Roads. 

Jr. Academy 5U-6U Program: The 5U-6U program is a co-ed, 8-week program that plays/practices twice a week: one mid-week practice and Saturday game-days. Game-play is 4v4. Program is offered in Huntsville, Madison, and Owens Cross Roads. 

Pre-Academy 7U-8U Program: The 7U-8U program prepares players for entry into the North Alabama SC Competitive Academy program. This one of a kind program in North Alabama is under the supervision of the Pre-Competitive Director and is coached by a Professional Licensed/Certified coach. This program is intended to help transition the kids from the 4v4 game to the 7v7 game at 9U. Players practice 2 times a week and play in-house/local friendly games on either on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (only one of those days). These players have the opportunity to attend 1-2 local tournaments each season.

Coaching

The benefit of the North Alabama SC Pre-Competitive Program is the support of our professional coaching staff. Volunteer parent coaches are supported by our dedicated Pre-Competitive Director and staff coaches for practices and games. Pre-Competitive players are developed using a modified version of our academy curriculum to ensure they are learning the game and developing the skills needed to meet their soccer goals that may include middle school, high school, or transitioning to competitive soccer.

Players per Team

Jr. Academy: 4-6 players per team
Pre-Academy: 7-10 players per team

Uniforms

Jr. Academy & Pre-Academy: Uniform kit is ordered separately through our club's online uniform store. Uniform ordering information will be provided after player registration is completed and teams are assigned. Uniform Kit estimated price is $39 for 4U-6U and $55 for 7U-8U.. 

Pricing

• Jr. Academy 4U: $100 per season
• Jr. Academy 5U-6U: $120 per season
• Pre-Academy 7U-8U: $175 per season
